A new hope

They say life changes when you have a new born. They are not wrong. They are not right either. Everything they tell you is both wrong and right. At the same time. What changes is the perception of time.

If time was in abundance before, now it’s a commodity. And there isn’t much you can do about it. Unless you can put your head under water and stop hearing the cry of a little alien creature that doesn’t know your language and your habits.

Night will become day and day will become night. Time really doesn’t care about you. It will pass as minutes or days and you will not know the difference. You only notice the alien becoming more human – cuter face, cuter smile, cuter sounds. Either that or you become more alien. Alien to your friends, alien to your family.

The battle with time can only be recorded. And thats where the tech part comes to help. The day little Yoda came into our lives we started making short movies (about 10 seconds) recording good times and progresses of our little one. Each month we put the best of them together and we have a new episode to watch around the fireplace.
